ExecOnline Partners with Ivey Business School to Deliver Transformational Educational Experiences on Leading Inclusive Teams

New York City, April 19, 2021ExecOnline, the pioneer of online leadership development for enterprises, announced a new partnership with the Ivey Business School at Western University, Canada’s leading provider of real-world, case-based business education. Launching in June 2021, the first series of four online learning experiences will focus on leading inclusive teams.

As the #1 executive education provider in Canada according to Financial Times, Ivey strives to develop leaders who think globally, act strategically, and contribute to the societies in which they operate.

“Today’s rapidly changing business environment requires a new approach to leadership development – one that positions diversity, equity, and inclusion as an imperative of workplace culture and as a strategic business advantage,” said ExecOnline Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer Julia F. Alexander. “Expanding our international reach and partnering with the esteemed faculty at Ivey Business School reinforces our commitment to transforming how global businesses invest in the development of future-ready, agile, and empathetic leaders.”

According to Martha Maznevski, professor of organizational behavior and faculty director for executive education at Ivey Business School, diverse teams have great potential for success, though proper training of leadership is essential in ensuring these teams perform as well as they should. As the lead faculty member of the first new offering with Ivey, Martha will teach leaders the particular sets of behaviors and attitudes that enable diverse teams to thrive and become a laboratory for growing inclusion and diversity throughout the organization.

“As the pioneer of online leadership development learning experiences, ExecOnline is uniquely positioned to not only educate future leaders on the importance of inclusive workplaces, but further set them on a path to make a difference in how we treat and welcome employees,” said Ivey Dean Sharon Hodgson. “I am pleased that Ivey is ExecOnline’s exclusive Canadian partner. By working with ExecOnline, Ivey will extend its reach and impact in leadership development.”

Each of the one-week learning experiences includes video lectures, interactive learning opportunities, and an action learning project. Participants will emerge from the experiences with knowledge they can immediately apply to impact their organizations’ performance. The offering will be delivered on the ExecOnline Platform and registration is open now.
